Under direct supervision of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih (Head of Board of Trustees/TIU) and Dr. Duran Kala (Dean of Faculty of Dentistry), a special committee was assigned to revise the BDS program curriculum and the course catalogues according to the European system of student workload and course credit calculation. The committee members were Dr. Duran Kala, Dr. Ranj Nadhim, Mr. Ercan Sezer and Dr. Aliser Babakulyev. The updated curriculum is competence based and focuses on evidence based learning and state-of-the-art clinical practice.
This document contains catalogues of all theoretical, practical and clinical courses of TIU / BDS program for 2020-2021. The catalogue forms were designed according to the European standards (Bologna process) taking consideration of course description, objectives, learning outcomes, local credits and European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Each course catalogue was filled by the assigned module leader (course instructor); all the course catalogues were collected and organized by Dr. Shara Rashid Khursheed and then edited and critically revised by: Dr. Ranj Nadhim Jalal, and Dr. Duran Kala (Dean) .
