The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University recently held a football tournament on February 20th, 2023. The tournament featured 11 teams comprising students from all grades of the Dentistry program. The tournament was organized by the Representative of the Dean of Students in the Faculty of Dentistry, Mr. Yusuf Sidiqq.
The competition was intense and culminated in a gripping final match held on February 26. The final match showcased two exceptional teams, one from the third grade and the other from the fifth grade. The third-grade team emerged victorious, securing a 2-1 win against their fifth-grade counterparts. The third-grade team was under the supervision of Dr. Erdal Gündoğan, while Dr. Hedi Shwan and Dr. Dalan Jamal supervised the fifth-grade team.
The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Duran Kala, warmly congratulated both teams and presented them with first and second-place cups. We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to all the participating teams and wish them continued success in their personal and academic endeavours.
