The Faculty of Dentistry participates in TIU fundraising event
The Dean of Students at Tishk International University annually organizes food fundraising projects in which students and staff participate by selling food, desserts, drinks, etc. Volunteer students actively take part in preparing and selling homemade food, providing them with a broader vision to understand the value of social responsibilities.
On December 14th, the Faculty of Dentistry participated in the Mercy Corner food fundraising event held at Tishk International University, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
The Faculty of Dentistry stand was organized by the Dean of Students Representative, and our students participated by preparing a variety of traditional food and desserts, and some volunteered in selling the food as well.
The fund collected is dedicated to helping refugees by preparing food packages and other basic needs. It was also a great opportunity for students to engage in charity and community work. With the help of Dentistry staff and students, the event was successfully completed, and a significant amount of funds were raised.
