Orientation Program held for Freshmen Students
The Dean of Students Office organized an orientation program for freshmen students who recently joined the Faculty of Dentistry earlier this month. The event was held on the 20th of December, 2021, and aimed to welcome the newcomers and guide them as they embark on their new journey.
The program was conducted in three sessions for all three groups of first-grade students. At the beginning of each session, the Students Information System (SIS), lecturer notes website, disciplinary rules, attendance regulations, examinations, and mark distributions were explained.
The Dean of Students Representative clarified the role of their office in helping students with their academic and social life and introduced the students to their class advisors.
By the end of each session, student handbooks and a map of the Faculty of Dentistry were distributed amongst the students. On behalf of the Faculty of Dentistry and Dean of Students Office, we wish our new students a great academic journey full of success and excellence. We hope all students have an exciting and memorable experience at TIU and look forward to helping students fulfill their academic and career dreams.
