On November 19th, 2024, the Dean of Students’ Office at the Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University (TIU), visited Ishik Ronaky Kindergarten and Primary School to conduct a comprehensive dental education and check-up initiative. This event, organized at the specific request of the school, aimed to raise awareness about oral health and provide initial dental assessments for their students.

The school had previously visited Tishk International University and specifically requested this outreach program to benefit their student body. The visiting team comprised 13 fourth- and fifth-grade dental students, accompanied by six senior supervisors from the Diagnosis, Pedodontics, Conservative, and Prosthetic departments.

During the visit, dental check-ups were performed for students in grades 1, 2, and 3, reaching a total of 210 children. Each child received a detailed case sheet outlining any identified dental issues, along with a proposed treatment plan. To make the experience engaging and educational, the team conducted interactive dental education sessions, utilizing mannequins and songs to effectively teach the children proper brushing techniques. The event concluded with a gesture of gratitude, as the school manager presented certificates to the participating students and supervisors in recognition of their dedicated efforts and valuable contributions to community oral health.
