On April 29th, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry proudly participated in the 8th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science at Tishk International University (TIU). The festival’s theme was “Diversity is our strength, Unity is our Power,” and it brought together a wide range of attendees, including general consulates, politicians, parents, students, staff, and guests.
The festival featured various country and city tents, with the Faculty of Dentistry taking responsibility for the UAE country and Duhok city tents. The faculty also organized a food fundraising effort with two dedicated tents. This fundraising was carried out by first-grade students and successfully raised a significant amount of money from the sale of various foods and pastries. The proceeds were later donated to Nanakali Hospital.
The event’s success was a result of the collective effort of the valuable staff and senior students from the Faculty of Dentistry, who supervised and organized the tents. The university expressed its sincere appreciation to them and to all the fantastic volunteer students whose participation made the event a great success.
