On May 17, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University organized a recreational trip for students to Doli Alana, a picturesque picnic destination in the Khalifan district. The area, known for its serene natural scenery and flowing streams, provided the perfect setting for a relaxing outdoor retreat. The trip was organized by third-stage students under the supervision of the Dean of Students’ Office, with a total of eight students and staff members participating.
The primary purpose of the trip was to give students a break from their academic responsibilities, allowing them to unwind and strengthen social bonds in a refreshing environment. Participants brought and shared homemade food, and various games and outdoor activities were organized, creating a fun and lively atmosphere.
Doli Alana, surrounded by lush greenery and cool waters, was an ideal location for a peaceful and joyful day. On the return journey, the group made a short visit to Shaqlawa, where they toured the area and enjoyed local sweets, adding a cultural element to the trip and creating lasting memories.
The faculty extended its heartfelt thanks to all participating students and staff, especially those who sacrificed their Saturday to ensure the trip’s success. Such extracurricular activities are considered vital for enhancing the student experience, promoting teamwork, and encouraging a balanced lifestyle. The university looks forward to organizing more enriching outings in the future.
