On the 8th of January 2024, the Dean of Students Office at the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a trip to Akre for the female staff of the faculty. The aim of the trip was to create a relaxing medium for the staff. They enjoyed visiting the archaeological, cultural, and entertaining places in Akre.
The trip was designed to offer a relaxing environment for the staff, away from stress and anxiety, to strengthen their social relationships, and to introduce them to the beautiful nature of Kurdistan. The day began early in the morning with the staff gathering and traveling to their destination, where they enjoyed breakfast. Afterwards, they explored the beautiful nature of Akre and purchased traditional Kurdish items like dry food. The trip provided an opportunity for the staff to comprehend unique ideas, engage with different cultures, and create unique connections with each other through interactions and dialogues.
As we approach the time of year when staff are required to work harder to meet deadlines, and the demands of exam time become overwhelming, it is important to focus on ways to decrease the overall tension of our dear staff by organizing relaxing and enjoyable activities. The Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University strives to provide a variety of social and fun activities for staff and students to help build their social skills and create a unique bonding experience.
