Workshop on How to Write a Great Research Paper

The Faculty of Dentistry organised a National Workshop titled ‘How to Write a Great Research Paper‘, conducted by Dr. Adil O. Abdullah, PhD, on 22nd September 2022. The workshop was held for the Faculty of Dentistry academic staff, and external researchers, at Tishk International University in Erbil, KRG.

The workshop’s objectives were to highlight the importance of scientific research, familiarise participants with the regulations of international journals, and explain how to get publication acceptance from highly indexed international journals and learn the techniques of finding relative articles.

The workshop contained two sessions:

1- A theoretical session about step-by-step research writing and editing.

2- Hands-on session on how to search and find what is required.

The workshop aimed to discuss the impact factor journal regulations and to enable the participants to publish their research papers on international platforms.

The workshop simplified the principles of research paper writing. One hundred thirty-three participants attended the workshop sponsored by Crown Dent Company.
