On December 13th 2022, a group of approximately 70 students and their teachers from Brayati Kindergarten School visited the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University and were warmly welcomed by the Dean of Students and faculty staff and students.
The purpose of the visit was to motivate the children, introduce them to campus life, and break their fear towards dentists and dental treatments. The visitors were welcomed for a tour during which the Pedodontic Department checked and diagnosed several school students. Oral health instructions were also shared in a motivating manner, and small gifts were distributed to them.
After that, students had a tour of the faculty building and visited several departments. Our staff and students took the opportunity to explain the role of each department. The Kindergarten stage is crucial in the child’s personality development; educating the children is required and encouraged at this age.This was one of the school group visits to the faculty this year, more groups have previously visited the faculty, and more are expected to visit soon.
