On 23rd May 2024, Dean of Students Office at the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) organized to acknowledge and show appreciation for the participants of the faculty community service projects. The objective of this ceremony was to award the volunteers with certificates of appreciation, which recognised their invaluable contributions, hard work, and dedication. The purpose of hosting this event was to express our sincere appreciation for the exceptional efforts of these individuals and to inspire and motivate them. The Dean of Students Committee of the Faculty of Dentistry organised the ceremony.
The certificates were distributed to the participants by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jabbar Hussein, Head of Prosthodontic Department, Dr. Lezan Dawood, Director of Polyclinics, Dr. Nofel Abdulmalik, Senior in Endodontic Department, Dr. Manar Nazhat, Senior in Prosthodontic Department, Dr. Rebaz Samir, Senior in Periodontology Department, Dr. Aliser Babakuliyev, Vice Dean, and Dr. Jafar Naghshbandi, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry. A presentation was given to provide a summary of all the projects that were completed, and the certificates were distributed. Sweets and beverages were provided to the attendees at the conclusion of the ceremony.
In the academic year of 2023-2024, the Dean of Student’s Office at the Faculty of Dentistry completed 10 community service projects that benefited a diverse population, including primary school students, high school students, orphans, impoverished individuals, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. TIU staff and students comprised the project participants and supervisors.
Tishk International University has consistently been at the forefront of community service initiatives and prioritises humanitarian endeavours. We are deeply appreciative of the university’s management for fostering an exceptional culture of volunteerism and community service.
