On 20th February 2023, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at Kurdistan Regional Government organized a workshop at Sulemani University for the development of dentistry curricula in all public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The workshop aimed to revise, develop and unify the curriculum of dental faculties in the Kurdistan Region to improve the quality of education, meet the budding market’s requirements, and maximize the career opportunities for dentist graduates.
The workshop was held in the Presence of Dr. Amanj Abdullah, the Ministry of Higher Education Consultant, KRG, the Vice President of Sulemani University and the deans of the dentistry faculties of all Kurdistan Universities. Dr. Duran Kala, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University and Dr. Lezan Dawood, the Polyclinic Director, attended the workshop.
