The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a football tournament for its students from February 9th to February 19th, 2025. The tournament featured 12 teams composed of students from all grades within the Faculty of Dentistry. The event was supervised by the Dean of Students’ Office in the Faculty of Dentistry and Dr. Aram Khudhur Mohammed, head of the TIU sport unit.
The competition was intense, culminating in a gripping final match on February 19th, 2025. The final was contested between two exceptional teams: one from the second grade and one from the fourth grade. The fourth-grade team emerged victorious, securing a 5-1 win against their second-grade counterparts. All matches were supervised by Dr. Dalan Jamal and Dr. Mustafa Mukhlis, and the final match had a large audience of Dentistry staff and students.
Dr. Jafar Naqshbandi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Alisher Babakuliyev, Head of Department, warmly congratulated both teams and presented them with first and second-place cups. The university extended its sincere congratulations and gratitude to all the participating teams, wishing them continued success in their personal and academic endeavors.
