Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University arranged a football tournament on February 9th, 2025, for Faculty of Dentistry students. The tournament featured 12 teams comprising students from all grades of Faculty of Dentistry. The tournament was supervised by the Dean of Students Office in Faculty of Dentistry and Dr. Aram Khudhur Mohammed head of TIU sport unit.
The competition was intense and culminated in a gripping final match held on February 19th, 2025. The final match showed two exceptional teams, one from the second grade and the other from the fourth grade. The fourth-grade team emerged victorious, securing a 5-1 win against their second-grade counterparts. All the matches were under the supervision of Dr Dalan Jamal and Dr Mustafa Mukhlis. The final match was performed with the presence of a good number of audience including Dentistry staff and students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Jafar Naqshbandi, and Dr Aliser Babakuliyev, Head of Department, warmly congratulated both teams and presented them with first and second-place cups. We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to all the participating teams and wish them continues success in their personal and academic endeavors.
