On September 21st, 2023, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University hosted an impactful workshop titled Implant Placement Protocol to Minimize Future Complications. The event, held at the university premises, saw the participation of 100 dentists, including both faculty members and practitioners from various institutions. Experts Dr. Ali Adnan, MSc in Oral Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry-TIU, and Dr. Zheer Hersh, MSc in Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry- TIU presented the workshop, delivering invaluable insights into implant placement procedures.
The workshop was structured into two sessions:
1. Theoretical Session:
The day commenced with an enlightening theoretical session where Dr. Ali Adnan and Dr. Zheer Hersh shared their in-depth knowledge and expertise in implant placement protocols. Participants were taken through the fundamental principles, innovative approaches, and recent advancements in implant dentistry.
2. Hands-On Session:
The second part of the workshop comprised an engaging hands-on session, enabling dentists to practically apply the theories discussed earlier. Under the guidance of the experts, attendees honed their skills in implant placement techniques, enhancing their surgical precision and proficiency.
