On May 30th 2023, the Dean of Students Office at the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a trip for female staff and nurses to Shaqlawa and Akre districts. The trip was supervised by the Director of Social Affairs and Guidance and Dean of Students Representative at the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Zeyneb Yalman.
The group, consisting of 23 female staff, nurses and relatives gathered at the university early in the morning. The trip aimed to provide a relaxing environment for the group away from stress and anxiety, strengthen their social relationships, and spend a nice time in the beautiful nature of Kurdistan. They visited Shaqlawa and Akre districts and spent a relaxing time there. The group headed back to Erbil and ended their trip at 6:00 pm the same day.
Tishk International University Dean of Student’s Office attempts to provide a variety of social and fun activities for staff to help build their social skills and create and provide a relaxing and enjoyable time.
