On February 15th, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) successfully organized an exciting and memorable picnic to the picturesque cities of Duhok and Zakho. The trip, supervised by the Dean of Students’ Committee members, aimed to provide students with a refreshing break from their academic routine while fostering a sense of community and socialization.
A total of 15 staff members and students from the Faculty of Dentistry participated in the trip, which was filled with fun, laughter, and exploration. The group visited several scenic and cultural landmarks in Duhok and Zakho, including the stunning Duhok Dam and the historic Zakho Bridge (Pirdi Delal). These visits not only allowed participants to enjoy the natural beauty of the region but also provided an opportunity to learn about its rich history and culture.
The picnic was a resounding success, offering students a chance to unwind, bond with their peers, and build lasting friendships outside the classroom.
