On April 29th, 2025, Faculty of Dentistry participated in the Spring Festival held at Tishk International University. The Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University organized the 8th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science at TIU campus under the theme of “Diversity is our strength, Unity is our Power” with the participation of general consulates, politicians, parents, students, staff, and guests.
The theme “Diversity is our Strength, Unity is our Power” emphasizes that the varied backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives people bring to a community are essential for fostering creativity, innovation, and personal growth. Diversity enriches our understanding, broadens our perspectives, and strengthens the collective, while unity ensures that these differences are respected and harmonized towards common goals. The festival comprised tents representing countries and cities, UAE country and Duhok city tents were the responsibility of Dentistry Faculty. Food fundraising was also organized by Faculty of Dentistry first stage students with 2 designated tents. Different types of food and pastries and sweets were sold and a good amount of money was collected and donated to Nanakali Hospital.
The tents were organized and supervised by the highly valuable staff and seniors from the different departments in Faculty of Dentistry. We sincerely appreciate and thank their efforts. We would also like to thank all the fantastic volunteer students in each tent, we highly appreciate your participation and hope to see you at next year’s spring festival.
