The third annual international conference of oral sciences was held at Erbil international hotel, organized by Tishk International University in collaboration with Hawler Medical University on May 03, 2018.
The conference started with the speech of Dr.Idris Hadi Salih Head of Board of Trustees and president of Tishk International University, he explained the importance of this conference for all academics and dentists in Kurdistan.
The conference provided a place of gather to approximately 700 participants including the representatives from both the ministry of higher education and the ministry of health, the general director of Erbil governorate, the deans and academic staff from universities in Baghdad,Sulaymaniah, Duhok, Kirkuk, Kitab and Mosul as well as the president of the Kurdistan dental association to share and receive information and techniques from esteemed doctors and professors.
The two-day conference presented 41 speakers and abstract presentations, local and international speakers about various practices of recent techniques in dentistry. The two keynote speakers were Dr. Vaidyanathan S. Mohan Fellow of the Indian Society for Oral Implantology and Dr. Ahmed Hamdy Teaching assistant of periodontology and implant dentistry – British university in Egypt – faculty of dentistry
The total revenue from sponsors for the conference was 10400$.
The total revenue for participants of the conference was 21326$.
