Master Thesis Defence at Dentistry Faculty
The Faculty of Dentistry Faculty at Tishk International University (TIU), Erbil, KRG, started the first Joint Master’s Program in collaboration with Hawler Medical University (HMU) in April 2018. On November 30th, 2022, the 18th master defence session was held in the presence of Dr. Duran Kala, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Rebuar Fadhil, Chief of Postgraduate Studies Office, TIU, Dr. Zhala Dara Miran, Chief of Postgraduate Studies Office, HMU, and master defence committee members.
Shnar Aziz, Master’s Candidate in the Orthodontics Department of the Joint Program, presented her thesis to the discussion committee under the title, The Effects of Two Surface Treatment on the Torque Insertion and Removing of Multi Uses of Commercial Orthodontic Miniscrew: An InVitro Study.
The master discussion committee members were :
1- Prof. Dr. Fadhil Abdullah, Ph.D., Suleymani University, Head.
2- Assist.Prof. Dr. Omar Fawzi, Ph.D., HMU , Member.
3- Assist.Prof. Dr. Zaid Burhan, Ph.D., Mosul University, Member.
4- Assist. Prof. Dr. Omar Sabah, Ph.D, TIU, member and thesis supervisor.
The master discussion committee accepted the thesis, recommending adjustments to be conducted within one month and congratulated the student for her outstanding effort and high performance in the presentation and through the two years of his study.
