On January 25th, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) arranged the 1st workshop on nanotechnology in dentistry which was presented by Prof. Dr. Samer Hamad General Directorate of Scientific Research Centre, Soran University, Prof. Dr. Azeez Barzinjy Researcher and Lecturer in Soran University and Dr. Ranj Nadhim Jalal Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, TIU. Introducing nano particles is considered a new era in dentistry, numerous studies have been published investigating the dental applications of nanomaterials. The aim of this workshop was to establish a link between nanotechnology and clinical dental practice and help the participants in designing an appropriate study by using suitable nanomaterials in different aspects of dentistry.
