On October 23rd, 2024, the Dean of Students’ Office at the Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University (TIU), organized a staff orientation program for those assigned as class advisors for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The orientation program provided comprehensive information regarding TIU’s mission and vision: to be a leading university in education, research, and development, committed to serving the community by fostering educated individuals with universal ethical values. The goal is to contribute to the improvement of humanity’s quality of life based on regional and global needs. Dean of Students’ representatives and committee members conducted the orientation, thoroughly discussing the importance, roles, and responsibilities of class advisors, as well as the various projects and activities annually undertaken by the Dean of Students’ Office within the Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Jafar Naghshbandi, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, commenced the program with a motivating speech and extended warm thanks to all staff members selected as class advisors for the year. The diverse duties and responsibilities of the Dean of Students’ representatives were also highlighted.
