On the 23rd of October 2024, a staff orientation program was organized for those assigned as class advisors for the academic year of 2024-2025. The orientation program was organized by the Dean of students’ Office at Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University (TIU).
The orientation program included information regarding the mission and vision of TIU as a leading university in the country in the areas of education, research and development. As well as service of the community by raising lettered individuals with universal ethical values, to serve fundamental human values and to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of humanity based on regional and universal needs. The orientation was performed by Dean of students’ representatives and committee members, where they discussed in detail the importance, role and responsibilities of class advisors and the various projects and activities performed annually by Dean of Students’ Office in Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Jafar Naghshbandi, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry started the program with a motivating speech and a warm thanks to all the staff chosen as class advisors of the year. The different duties and responsibilities of Dean of students’ representatives were also discussed.
