On the 5th of March, 2023, the Dean of Students Office at the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University accompanied second-stage students to Shex Turab for an entertaining and relaxing picnic organized and arranged by the students. The group was accompanied by the Dean of Student Representatives at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mr. Yusuf Siddiq and Mr. Ercan Sezer, dentistry staff and the second-stage Class Advisor, Dr. Rebaz Samir.
The group consisted of 47 students, and they enjoyed the beautiful nature of Shex Turab altogether. They played basketball and different card games and had a small competition consisting of different questions and answers. The trip aimed to provide a relaxing environment for the students away from stress and anxiety, strengthen their social relationships, and introduce them to the beautiful nature of Kurdistan.
Tishk International University Dean of Student’s Office attempts to provide a variety of social and fun activities for students to help build their social skills and create an interactive learning space to decrease the stress of textbook learning, coursework, and examinations. Students will be able to comprehend unique ideas and engage in foreign cultures through interactions and dialogues produced by such events.
The Faculty of Dentistry at TIU has consistently maintained the highest quality of dental education since its foundation in 2008.
