Tishk International University’s Faculty of Dentistry Extends Aid to Families in Need

On November 26th, 2024, the Dean of Students' Office at the Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University (TIU), organized a significant visit to support four underprivileged families in the Bnaslawa region of Erbil. This initiative is a continuation of an ongoing charity project that commenced last year during the month of Ramadan. The families, initially identified and visited in 2023, were re-engaged through a dedicated local facilitator who has been instrumental in coordinating these efforts for both this year and the previous one. Mercy Corner 2022

Mercy Corner is an annual project organised by the Deanery of Students at Tishk International University. This year’s project was dedicated to people in need and aimed to shed light on the situation and raise awareness among our students. A food fundraising event was held on December 18th, 2022, in which the Faculty of Dentistry participated with five tables assigned for food, sweets and pastries brought or handmade by students and supervised by the Dean of Students Committee Members at the Faculty.
