On October 24th, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a workshop under the title of ‘The Role of Dental Loupes in Dentistry’ for the faculty staff and external dentists.
The workshop featured presentations by Dr. Hisham Ibrahim and Dr. Karam Ahmad, both esteemed members of the conservative department at Tishk International University. Their expertise provided valuable insights into the importance of dental loupes in improving clinical outcomes and precision in dental procedures through two sessions: a theoretical session and a hands-on session. The theoretical session covered key concepts, including the different types of dental loupes, their features, and the impact of magnification on clinical practice. The hands-on session provided participants with a scientific and practical environment, allowing them to try various loupes and understand their applications in real-world scenarios. This interactive approach fostered engagement and allowed attendees to ask questions and share experiences.
The aim of the workshop was to enhance the knowledge of the participants regarding the newest updates in Dental Technology . More than 75 participants attended the workshop which was sponsored by ivory company.
