On September 17th, 2024, the Dean of Students Office at the Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University (TIU), organized a welcome ceremony for both new and returning faculty staff. The event marked the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, aiming to welcome all staff to the Faculty of Dentistry, energize them for the new academic year, and provide a welcoming atmosphere for newly joined members.
The ceremony commenced with a speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Jafar Naqhshbandi, who welcomed the staff and expressed gratitude for their attendance. This was followed by the introduction of Prof. Dr. Anwar Barakat, a new senior member in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, who then delivered a speech expressing his appreciation for joining the TIU Dentistry family.
As the ceremony concluded, a short movie was presented. This film, created by the Dean of Students in partnership with Tishk International University students, highlighted the engagement of the Faculty of Dentistry staff, reaffirming the institution’s sense of community.
