Tishk International University proudly hosted a distinguished welcome ceremony for first-grade students of the Faculty of Dentistry, held over three days from 21 to 23 December 2025. Organized in well-structured groups, the event warmly received approximately 200 newly enrolled students, marking the beginning of their academic journey in a vibrant and supportive environment. The ceremony reflected the faculty’s strong commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and community building. The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Omar Naghshbandi, along with the Head of Department, Dr. Aliser Babakuliyev, welcomed the students and delivered inspiring and informative speeches, encouraging students to embrace their studies with dedication, enthusiasm, and a sense of professional responsibility.
The event was further enriched by the presence of first-grade class advisors, who play a vital role in student affairs, guidance, and problem-solving throughout the academic year. A comprehensive presentation was delivered, highlighting social and extracurricular activities within the Faculty of Dentistry, introducing class advisors, and clearly outlining step-by-step procedures for addressing academic or personal challenges students may encounter. Additionally, previous activities and achievements of the Faculty were showcased to familiarize new students with the dynamic and active university life awaiting them. To foster engagement and enjoyment, an interactive Kahoot quiz was organized, creating a lively atmosphere and rewarding winners with special gifts. The ceremony concluded on a celebratory note with a cake-cutting event, refreshments, and an opportunity for students to socialize with their class advisors and faculty members. This memorable welcome event successfully set a positive and motivating tone for the students’ academic journey at Tishk International University.
