On 9, 10 and 14 May 2026, Faculty of Dentistry in Tishk International University supervised a big project charity organized by First-grade Dentistry students, as part of the Interpersonal Dynamics and Character Building course (IDCB). On 10 May 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University organized a scientific field trip for first-stage dental students to the laboratories and clinical training facilities of University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH). The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) carried out a humanitarian charity project aimed at supporting underprivileged families in the Bnaslawa district. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility, particularly in assisting vulnerable groups facing financial hardship. The project commenced on 20 December 2025 and continued through Ramadan month until 19 March 2026. Mental Health & Performance seminar was a focused session designed exclusively for dental students navigating academic pressure, clinical responsibility, and exam stress. Led by Dr. Waad Alhafiz, Specialist psychiatrist from Baghdad, the session explores how stress impacts focus, memory, performance and more importantly, how to manage it using practical, evidence-based tools you can apply immediately to strengthen both academic and clinical performance.
