On February 9, 2026, Faculty of Dentistry in Tishk International University hosted a special ceremony to celebrate International Dentist Day. The event brought together faculty members to honor the invaluable contributions of dentists to healthcare and society.
The ceremony commenced with an uplifting speech by Prof. Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi who congratulated and motivated the doctors and honored their great contribution to the world. The celebration was not only a moment of appreciation but also a source of joy and engagement. A Kahoot quiz featuring dentistry-related questions ignited a spirit of friendly competition among participants and a medium of laughter and knowledge was created. The Kahoot quiz featured a mix of dental specialties. A funny short movie was presented for fun and entertainment. The participation included 50 of staff members from the different departments of Faculty of Dentistry.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a celebratory cake was cut, and a group photo captured the joyful memories of the day. Faculty members spent time socializing, sharing laughter, and strengthening their sense of community. The participants expressed their appreciation for the event, noting how it reinforced their passion for dentistry.
