On 20 May 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University organized a farewell ceremony for its fifth-year students, with the participation of approximately 200 students. The event was attended by the Dean, heads of departments, senior students, class advisors, and administrative staff, creating a memorable and celebratory atmosphere.
The ceremony began with a speech by Dr. Omar Naghshbandi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, who congratulated the students on reaching this important milestone and expressed his support and best wishes for their future careers and achievements.
Following this, Ms. Rasha Al-Kabani, Director of ISO and Accreditation, delivered a presentation explaining the accreditation process, its objectives, and its importance in ensuring educational quality and enhancing opportunities for students.
Ms. Lavin Kawa, representative of the Alumni Office, then introduced the role and significance of the alumni network, encouraging graduates to remain connected with the university. She highlighted how the Alumni Office supports graduates in professional networking, career development, and future employment opportunities.
During the ceremony, class representatives were awarded certificates in appreciation of their efforts and contributions. Students also presented two special videos: one featuring messages and expressions from senior students, and another showcasing memories and shared experiences throughout their years at the university.
The event concluded with a photo session, cake cutting, and a celebration attended by students and faculty members. As a final commemorative gesture, each student received a specially designed cup personalized with their name, marking the occasion and celebrating their journey at Tishk International University.
