The Pedodontics Department at Tishk International University is proud to announce the integration of a state-of-the-art nitrous oxide sedation device into its pediatric dental care services. This advanced system will enable the department to provide safe and effective conscious sedation for young patients, significantly enhancing their comfort during dental procedures.
The device, recognized as one of the most sophisticated in pediatric dentistry, was delivered along with comprehensive staff training. In collaboration with trainers from Italy and the company’s customer representatives, the training program covered essential areas including patient administration, safety precautions, proper sterilization protocols, and efficient delivery of the sedation system. All respected department staff—including the Head of Department, Dr. Bushra Rashid, senior dentists, and research assistants—successfully completed the training.
The department anticipates that the implementation of this technology will greatly improve the patient experience, allowing children to receive dental care in a calm and controlled environment while upholding the highest standards of clinical safety.
