The Career Development Center (CDC), under the supervision of the Dean of Students and in collaboration with the faculties of Tishk International University (TIU), organized the TIU Genius Competition, a scientific and general knowledge challenge conducted through the Kahoot interactive platform, in which faculty of Dentistry also participated.
The competition was held on February 10, 2026, in Ibn Sina Hall, New Dentistry Building. The event brought together students from different faculties to compete in an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment that tested their knowledge, speed, and analytical skills.
A proud moment for our Faculty of Dentistry. In the TIU Genius Competition (Kahoot), across the whole university including 33 departments and 8 faculties, the Top 3 positions were all taken by Dentistry students, which is a great achievement for our faculty overall. At the faculty level, one student from the Dentistry Department achieved outstanding results. Special congratulations to Shawkatbag, who won the 1st place in both the Faculty Ranking and Overall TIU Ranking, and Abdullah Dler who won the 2nd place in both the Faculty Ranking and Overall TIU Ranking. Also, congratulations to Barz Awat for securing the 3rd place in the Overall TIU Ranking.
At the university level, the first three top winners were from Dentistry Department, reflecting their academic excellence and strong competitive spirit.
In recognition of their achievement, the students were awarded and appreciated. The recognition ceremony emphasized the faculty’s commitment to encouraging student participation in extracurricular academic activities and fostering a culture of excellence.
