Dentistry Faculty Staff and Students Vaccinated against HBV On October 17th, 2022, a specialized team from the Ministry of Health, KRG, was invited by Dr. Lezan Dawood, the Polyclinic Director, to the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University. This visit aimed to provide Anti-Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) vaccinations to staff and students of the Faculty of Dentistry. Sterilization and Disinfection at Dental Office Training Course A training course was conducted by Dr Melav Musa (B.D.S, MSc candidate) for Dentistry Faculty nurses at Tishk International University between 28th-30th August 2022. The course focused on the crucial role of Sterilization and Disinfection in Dentistry and on preventing cross infections in the community. The objectives of the training were to train the nurses with the newest Health Regulations of sterilization and disinfection according to World Health Organization (WHO), in addition to teaching them how to protect themselves and their patients from any possible disease transmission.
