October 25, 2019 A trip to the Galizanta in Akre has been organized by the Dean of students office for the female staff of the faculty of Dentistry and their families to enjoy a refreshing friendly time away from work stress. The participants had a nice time in Akre and then at night they came back to the university and made barbeque in the University Garden.
From October 16 – October 31 ,2019 The Dean of students office organized a series of welcoming parties for the Dentistry faculty students from (2nd Grade – 5th Grade) to have a motivated new academic year . Different members of Dean of students office attended the programs and introduced the Dean of students roles and activities to the students. November 2,2019 Tishk International University /Dean of students office organized a hiking trip to Safeen Mountain for the students and staff on November 2,2019. Totally 270 students participated in the activity from all the different faculties , 41 of them were from the Faculty of Dentistry . Mr.Fatih Yilmaz the representative of Dean of students supervised the Dentistry students.
On October,30, 2019, TIU/ Dentistry faculty paid a visited to Tishk International Brayati kindergarten for the second time. Under the supervision of the departmental chief Dr. Bushra Rashid and the specialist pedodontist Dr. Muhamed Salim with pedodontics teaching assistants and a group of 5th grade students . The team examined the oral cavity and teeth of (130 )kids who were 5 years old , fluoride varnish application and home care instruction were given with doing live demonstrations showing them how to brush their teeth. On 29th october, 2019 the dean of students organized a lunch meeting with the academic staff of TIU/ dentistry faculty in the presence of the dean of faculty Dr.Duran, the Polyclinic director Dr.Lezan Dawood, the representative of Dean of students office Mr.Fatih Yilmaz ,head of departments and a group of teaching assistants, after the meal the Dean gave a speech about the new academic year, our targets and discussing departmental problems with the staff.
On 24th October, 2019 TIU/ faculty of dentistry paid a visit to Ishık Brayati kindergarten .... Tishk International University has been always trying to participate in the community's social and humanitarian services in the best possible way. This year as well, we had a long-term plan and many activities with ‘'Orphanage house children ‘' All the activities and projects were managed and organized by Dr. Rojan Arif and Dr. Lana Burhan Jaff as planned before with TIU dentistry faculty staff and permitted by the Dentistry faculty's deanery, TTishk International university's rectorate and orphanage house directors ( boys/girls). On June 14th 2019 Tishk International University Faculty of Dentistry held its annual conference of Oral Sciences in the Dedeman Hotel. A national workshop was held in Dedeman hotel that was sponsored by VANEST company under the title (Rotary Endodontic) by Dr. Khidher Mustafay. The workshop was parallel to the conference program flow by esteemed dentists locally and abroad in Dedeman Hotel The topic was shown to be so promising that seats for class was reserved within a short span of time, which 35 participants were attending to workshops. Net Profit: 500$
