Annual TIU Football Cup Deanery of Students, Sport Activities office organised a Football Cup for Tishk International University Students and Staff. The Cup started on 10th of February 2019, 44 teams with almost 400 students from all departments and staff participated in the cup in which all the teams had the great friendship and fair play. Each team had two chances to be qualified to the next round, after 73 matches and two months with a friendly competition, two teams reached the final match which was Dentistry First Grade and Physics. On June 13th 2019 Tishk International University Faculty of Dentistry held its annual conference of Oral Sciences in the Dedeman Hotel. An International workshop was held in Dedeman hotel that was sponsored by BrightDent company under the title (Laminate veeners in every day practice) by Assist.Prof.Dr. Hakam Mousa from USA. Rewarding the staff and students who participated in 4th international Spring Festival of TIU, The Dean of Dentistry Faculty Dr. Duran Kala with the support of dean of students rewarded the participants of the 4th international spring festival of TIU by giving them certificates. Among the participants there were the staff and students of dentistry faculty. Dr. Duran KALA gave a sermon (speech) and explained the importance of the participating in such activity as a volunteer. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ercan Sezer, Mr. Fatih Yilmaz, Ms. Rozhan Arif, Ms. Sara Bahram, Dr. Jihad Tayib and dentistry students.
On 4th May, 2019 Dentistry Deanery of TIU invited all Dentistry staff forlunch in the Garden of Tishk International University. The invitation was forthe staff and their families too. They all enjoyed their time and had a nice meal together.
On 30th April, 2019 A breakfast invitation in meeting hall of Dentistry Faculty of TIU was Arranged by our staff (Research Assistants) Dr. Sara Bahram and Dr. Huda Shamil also some other research assistants participated in the organization. All the staff of Dentistry Faculty had attended, there Dr. Duran KALA, Mr. Vice Dean Ercan Sezer and Prof.Dr. Jabbar Hussien had their speach to the staff. They all enjoyed their time and had a nice breakfast together.
A national workshop under the title of (The use of interactive lecturing tools and their application in education) was held by the professional dentist (Dr. Shaho Ziyad ) on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 for TIU / Dentistry faculty academic staff. In this workshop, the last updates in the technological applications that are used for education were introduced to the academic staff and the speaker asked the participants to use their smart phones and laptops for live demonstration and practicing the applications together. On 22nd of April First discussion of higher education proposal of Dentistry faculty was held by Dr Hezha one the master candidates of conservative department, under supervision of master joint program committee, that was made of Dr. Bassam Karim (lecturer), Dr. Diyar Khalid (Assist Prof.), Dr. Raid (Assist Prof.) , and Dr. Nofel Zakariya (Assist Prof.) . This scientific panel was in dentistry faculty / Tishk International University.
