The dean of students office in dentistry faculty at Tishk International University organized a dental care project for Erbil orphanage house. The project has been done for both the male and female orphanage houses. The visits were managed by the dean of students representative at Dentistry Faculty Dr. Zaynab Yalman and the cooperation of the Dentistry Faculty (academic advisors , class advisors and students ) in addition to the house’s managers. The academic staff of the Faculty of Dentistry Faculty at Tishk International University has always pioneered scientific activities. Recently, three of our staff participated as speakers in conferences conducted inside and outside the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. On the occasion of Prophet Muhammed’s Birthday (peace be upon him), the Dean of Students Office, Faculty of Dentistry in Tishk International University in Erbil, KRG arranged an event to celebrate this holy day. The celebration was organized under the supervision of Dr. Zainab Yalman, and Mr.Yusuf Siddik, Representatives of the Dean of Students Office. A special corner was prepared at the entrance of the Faculty of Dentistry Building, as a tribute to our Holy Prophet. Small gifts and cards with Holly Hadiths were given to staff members, to commemorate the Prophet's life, teachings, hardships, and his merciful, forgiving character. [...]

The Dentistry Faculty of Tishk International University organized a workshop under the title of "Hands-on Direct Composite Veneer", held on the 14th of October, 2021. The seminar was presented by Dr. Karam Ahmad, a member of the Conservative Department at the Faculty of Dentistry. The objectives of the workshop were to enable the participants to understand the advantages and disadvantages of direct Veneer and to inform about the indications and the contraindications of the technique. As part of the academic upgrading and development strategy, Tishk International University strives to be parallel with the world’s latest technology and the digital revolution in order to deliver quality education. Data show projectors in the postgraduate unite classrooms of Dentistry Faculty have been replaced by LG Digital signage 4k screens (217cm/86) to provides the most interactive teaching experience for the first time in Kurdistan. The Dentistry Faculty of TIU, which established postgraduate units in 2018, continuously ensures that the classrooms are equipped with high-quality appliances to enhance and facilitate the provision of higher education.

On August 24th, 2021, Tishk International University held protocol discussions for Dr. Harez Dana and Dr. Shinar Boya, master candidates at the Orthodontics Department of the Faculty of Dentistry. The proposal discussion committee members included the following: 1-Asst.Prof. Dr. Zana Qadir- chairman 2-Asst.Prof. Dr. Bayan Abdullah 3.Asst.Prof. Dr. Zaid Al-Dewachi 4-Lecturer Dr. Omer Sabah- Supervisor Both protocols were formally accepted by the committee.

Thesis Discussions for fifth-grade students of the Dentistry Faculty of TIU were conducted in a series of sessions held between July 12th and July 15th, 2021. The sessions were under the direct supervision of Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and staff members designated as the examining committee. The judges were assigned to scientifically discuss and evaluate the final-year dissertations that were submitted by students as a partial requirement of the Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery.
