On January 2nd, 2023, the Dean of Students Office Representatives in the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University organised an orientation program for first-year students who recently joined the Faculty of Dentistry earlier this month. The event aimed to welcome newcomers and guide them as they embark on their new journey. Table Tennis Tournament

The Dean of Students in the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University launched a table tennis tournament for faculty students on December 7th, 2022. The activity was supervised and arranged by Mr. Yusuf Sidiq, Representative of the Dean of Students at the Faculty of Dentistry. Table Tennis is a sport where two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth using table tennis rackets. The game is played on a hard table divided by a net. Under the direct supervision of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees at Tishk International University, and Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, a special committee was assigned to revise the BDS Program Curriculum and the course catalogues according to the European system of student workload and course credit calculation. Mercy Corner is an annual project organised by the Deanery of Students at Tishk International University. This year’s project was dedicated to people in need and aimed to shed light on the situation and raise awareness among our students. Achievement of Short Film Project by TIU Faculty of Dentistry Students

A Short Film Project was successfully completed by 3rd stage students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University, with the assistance of the Dean of Students Committee and Faculty of Dentistry facilities. The project consisted of producing a short film titled Anesthesia, which focuses on the difficulties dental students face during their dental school practice and how to overcome them. On December 13th 2022, a group of approximately 70 students and their teachers from Brayati Kindergarten School visited the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University and were warmly welcomed by the Dean of Students and faculty staff and students. The purpose of the visit was to motivate the children, introduce them to campus life, and break their fear towards dentists and dental treatments.
