The Dentistry Faculty of Tishk International University organized a workshop under the title of "Hands-on Direct Composite Veneer", held on the 14th of October, 2021. The seminar was presented by Dr. Karam Ahmad, a member of the Conservative Department at the Faculty of Dentistry. As part of the academic upgrading and development strategy, Tishk International University strives to be parallel with the world’s latest technology and the digital revolution in order to deliver quality education. Data show projectors in the postgraduate unite classrooms of Dentistry Faculty have been replaced by LG Digital signage 4k screens (217cm/86) to provides the most interactive teaching experience for the first time in Kurdistan. The Dentistry Faculty of TIU, which established postgraduate units in 2018, continuously ensures that the classrooms are equipped with high-quality appliances to enhance and facilitate the provision of higher education.

On August 24th, 2021, Tishk International University held protocol discussions for Dr. Harez Dana and Dr. Shinar Boya, master candidates at the Orthodontics Department of the Faculty of Dentistry. The proposal discussion committee members included the following: 1-Asst.Prof. Dr. Zana Qadir- chairman 2-Asst.Prof. Dr. Bayan Abdullah 3.Asst.Prof. Dr. Zaid Al-Dewachi 4-Lecturer Dr. Omer Sabah- Supervisor Both protocols were formally accepted by the committee.

Thesis Discussions for fifth-grade students of the Dentistry Faculty of TIU were conducted in a series of sessions held between July 12th and July 15th, 2021. The sessions were under the direct supervision of Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and staff members designated as the examining committee. The judges were assigned to scientifically discuss and evaluate the final-year dissertations that were submitted by students as a partial requirement of the Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery. On May 25th, 2021, the Faculty of Dentistry of Tishk International University arranged a national seminar entitled "Basic Tips in Dental Implantology", attended by Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees, Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Lezan Dawood, Polyclinic Manager, Dentistry Faculty staff and students, and Dentists of different specialties. On May 24th, 2021, certificates of appreciation were distributed amongst the Dentistry Faculty students who participated in the MercyCorner Project, in recognition of their significant contribution and hard work in the collection, organization, and distribution of donations to help the refugees of Hersham Camp. The ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Ali Bala, Dean of Students at Tishk International University, and several members of the Dean of Students’ Office, including Mrs. Emine Bala, and Dr. Zainab Yalman, Representative of Dean of Students Office at Dentistry Faculty. The Faculty of Dentistry of Tishk International University (TIU) arranged a workshop on May 19th, 2021, under the title of “Biomechanics: The secret behind Orthodontic”. The purpose of the workshop was to allow the participants to identify and understand various biomechanical principles. The event also aimed to teach the attendees how to apply various principles to their appliances, how to create desired and predictable tooth movements and to understand the how efficient biomechanics is used to achieve effective results for several patients. Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, and a delegation from the Ministry visited Tishk International University (TIU) on May 9th, 2021. They were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad, Acting President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi, Admin. & Fine Vice President, and the Dean of the Faculties. Dr. Aram explored all the departments, faculties, and laboratories. On April 11th, 2021, under the direct supervision of the Dean of Students Office in Tishk International University, the final match of the TIU championship was played in the presence of Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees of TIU,  and Dr.Duran Kala, Dean of the Dentistry Faculty. Some of the Deans of the other Faculties of TIU, lecturers, and students also were part of the audience. Forty-one teams participated in the championship, and teams of both the Dentistry and Law faculties reached the final contest, which was judged by Captain Fahmi Abdulla.
